Tulip fields in Tonami city
Now in Tonami tulip fields tulip petals have been cut and bulbs were
fertilized in the soil. They will be dug out from the soil this July.
Tonami city, Toyama prefecture, Japan, is located at 200 miles
north of Nagoya. It is a tulip bulbs producing town. From the
end of April to the beginning of May, various kind tulips bloom
profusely as if they were colored carpets. Here I introduce some
