Receive a  towel and a yukata [ an informal cotton kimono. ]


Change into the yukata in the dressing room.

Go down to the seashore,lie down at appointed place,and the attendants will cover you in sand.


How to take the Steam Sand Bath.

You can regulate the temperature of the sand bath according to the sand's depth.About 15 minutes in the sand will sweat out your bodies impurities and leave you feeling refreshed.

Return to the bath where you will wash off the sand.
and take off your yukata.

Business hours. Open:8:30 a.m.to 8:30 p.m.
(Bathhouse closes at 9:00 p.m.)
(In the busiest seasons,last admissions may be taken earlier.)
Except on Saturday,Sundays and National Holidays,
the bathhouse will be closed between 12 noon to 1 p.m.for cleaning.
